Your account and your story

The Life and Times of Me™ is a product of K3 Digital and Public Safety Growth Partners, which are registered DBAs of Kevin Konczal, so references to “we”, “us”, or “our” in these terms mean Kevin Konczal as operator of the service. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Keep your account credentials secure and provide accurate account information. You retain ownership of the memories and other content you provide; we use it to operate the service for you, not to claim ownership of your story.

Only provide content you have the right to use. Respect the privacy of other people mentioned in your memories and do not upload unlawful content, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with the service or other accounts.

Purchase options and available features

You can get paid access in one of three ways: Lifetime Access as a $99 USD one-time purchase, an $8 USD monthly subscription, or a $79 USD yearly subscription. Applicable taxes may be added. New purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe; earlier purchases made through Paddle were processed by Paddle as merchant of record. The applicable payment processor’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

The $99 one-time purchase does not renew, and you keep ongoing access under these one-time purchase terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Manage Billing to stop future renewals; you keep paid access until the end of the period you already paid for. If a renewal payment fails, the payment processor may retry it, and paid access ends if payment is not completed.

Confirmed paid access allows you to create, edit and organize memories. Unpaid accounts that never had a subscription may read and delete existing memories. When a subscription ends, the account becomes read-only: you can read your saved content and download it where downloads are supported, but you cannot ordinarily add, edit, organize or delete content until you subscribe again or have other valid paid access. You can collect and organize memories, people, places, and photographs, with autobiography creation included as that feature becomes available. Autobiography generation and export are not currently available; do not purchase expecting immediate access to unfinished features. Photo previews currently remain in your browser tab and are not saved as uploaded photo files.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund request window for the $99 one-time purchase. A confirmed full refund removes that purchase’s paid create/edit access, without deleting memories or preventing read/delete access. For subscriptions, cancelling stops future renewals but does not by itself refund the current period; refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable law, and a confirmed full refund may end paid access for that period, leaving the account read-only. We never delete saved memories merely because a subscription ended or a refund was issued. See our Refund Policy for details. Your statutory rights and applicable payment processor buyer rights remain unaffected.

Optional external services

MagicLight is a separate company, not owned or operated by Kevin Konczal, K3 Digital, Public Safety Growth Partners, or The Life and Times of Me™. Movie creation through MagicLight is optional, not included in the $99 purchase or any subscription, and subject to its own terms, privacy practices, and charges.

Availability and changes

We may maintain or update the service and these terms. Material changes will be identified through an updated effective date and communicated as appropriate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a release date for unfinished features. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
